Writer's Institute of Northern Nevada
WINN is a cooperative school for homeschoolers, pre-school through high school. Writing is the primary focus of WINN. Subjects taught include: writing, science, art, history, kindergarten activities. Classes are held on Thursday mornings at Immaculate Conception Church at the corner of McCarran Boulevard & Pyramid Road in Sparks, Nevada
The writing instruction is modeled after the Institute for Excellence in Writing program by Andrew Pudewa.
A parent of each student must volunteer for each hour their children are enrolled. Volunteer opportunities include teaching, teaching assistants, homework correctors, and cleanup.

We are so very glad to welcome you to WINN. It is a little overwhelming at first. Everything is new! The most important thing is to read the information in this registration packet carefully! Then give me a call with questions at 851-0180. I am happy to talk with you on the phone if you need additional information or clarification.
Please remember that the life science class is not open to new students until I determine the size of the class.
If you wish to take life science, mark it as your first choice and Rainbow Science as your second choice. On August 16th I will begin assigning new students to life science on a space available basis. Again, call with any questions.
